Successful Vendor in Affiliate Marketing
So you’re interested in becoming a vendor or maybe you are already one. I want to integrate some of my techniques to earn you the most high sales as possible.
Choosing Your Market
So you have this E-book written and you want to earn a crap load of money from it. There are hundreds if thousands of markets to enter your book into. You have to know what you’re doing in order to be in competition with the other vendor’s in the same niche as you. It’s wise to take a quick browse with keywords of your niche and see how well other vendor’s are doing, there pitch page, etc. If you are looking to promote an e-book in the “Internet Marketing Business”, then I would definitely not look to put it in Clickbank’s marketplace. The competition is high there. For Internet Marketing items definitely look to other marketplaces.
Have An Opt-In
As you probably already know, having an emailing list is going to be your backbone for long term investments. Whenever customers get through buying your products always lead them to an opt-in form. I have found Vertical Response to be superior for my mailing needs. As time goes in you will generate hundreds or thousands of interested opt-ins. This large email list is going to allow you to send out affiliate products and steady keep sales coming. Please note that it takes time and strategy. Whatever you do, don’t have an opt-in form before the customer gets his/her download. In some cases it’s illegal and in my eyes it’s crappy or unethical. There have been times where I had to sign-up for someone’s mailing list just before I got my item. I could have reported them but I just flipped the script. I got the download, obtained a refund and got to keep what I purchased! Since they wanted to play dirty so did I
.So remember to always have an option for people to opt-in and you’ll get way more respect this way!
Dynamic Pitch Page
I mentioned up-top to take a look at other vendor’s pitch pages. Now, you will come across some crappy ones and some good ones. To me, good pitch pages are the ones that aren’t full of content to scroll through. I don’t know about you, but I personally don’t want to navigate my mouse through all of them words. Here are the main points you will need in your pitch page in order to convert more sales.
- State What You’re Selling From The Get Go
- State How Much It Is Towards The Beginning and Towards The End.
- State Your 60 Day Money Back Guarantee In Bold or With Much Emphasis.
In Conclusion
To be a successful vendor in affiliate marketing, keep those small things in mind. I guarantee you will convert more sales.
