One of the most important parts in the credibility of your blog is having an “About Me” page. While anybody can throw up a page describing themselves or what-not, there still needs to be techniques implemented.

First Name,Last Name

It may sound kindergarten, but you should always remember to start off by introducing your first name and last name. For example, Hi my name is Pauletta Brown…. The reason being behind this is so that people feel comfortable with what their reading and know you’re completely searchable and legite!

Tell Something Interesting

When writing your “About Me” page, be sure to have the reader read something that will keep them intrigued in you or your blog. Tell them about how you use to be a nerd in High-School! Lol

Full Facts

When writing, be full of facts and try to include as much as you possibly can about yourself and what you have accomplished. People like to get a visual image of your story if they can.

Include Picture

Don’t forget to add your picture!! When choosing a picture to put on your “About Me” page, it doesn’t have to be anything specific or fancy. Be sure it’s not too big and not too small though!

Summary

When people go to your blog they always expect to see an ‘About Me’ page. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy, but as long as you include a picture, be detailed,include full name and tell something interesting, then you’ll be just fine.
